It’s an amazing lecture. One evening I sat and watched the entire lecture and was just blown away. Unfortunately, he passed away at the end of July.
And in case I’d never told you, your writing is intriguing and highly erotic. I enjoy it throughly as if it were my guilty pleasure…

I only met him once, by accident. He shook my hand and looked me in the eye, something people don’t do hardly at all now that I am dying of cancer.
An amazing man with an amazing message. Thank you for sharing it with those that read your blog.

Watched it the other night … makes me think in cliches: live like you’re dying, and pray it doesn’t end too soon. Except that for many, it does. How many of us can say we’ve lived the best lives we could?
(And by the way? This little edit button? Very nice to have that bit of do-over ability somewhere in life).

The message is incredible. When I managed a large team, the thought that ‘criticism means they haven’t given up on you’ was entirely true. When I was ready to cut someone dry it was because, at that point, I was spent trying to correct and modify the behavior.
I can only imagine the number of people who’ve given up my me and my stubborn ass.
He had joie de vivre.
And thank you.

I’ve watched someone die of cancer, but in his case, the cancer robbed him of any chance for introspection and clarity. He only had enough time to realize he was going to die before he was robbed of speech, then much more later on. While it is difficult, exceedingly difficult to face your mortality without facing my own, I would look you in the eye.

I certainly can’t say that, but I hold hope eternal.
And yes, the edit button makes me happy not having to edit for the careful typo I know you’d be gnashing your teeth about.

Ouch. *laughs* It’s true though: typos, whether mine or somebody else’s, are like ants on my spine.

Mm. Hope. Eternal.
It is good to see you say that.
